When German Angelika fell in love with Peruvian Francisco, a love for the Amazon rainforest in which he lived followed. After 8 years together in Moteloy, they’re fighting to preserve their home from cacao producers threatening to destroy the forest, and with it the people and animals whose lives depend on it.

Over the past decade I have photographed food and drinks, the brilliant souls preparing and the lucky guests imbibing. I have come to enjoy the photography as much as the food itself.
A charming gallery in Kensington has acquired a few prints from Boy Story for their permanent collection.
When next I’m asked about my work, I shall point to this essay and answer: “What he said.”
