V&A Museum Collection
Eight prints from Boy Story have entered the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
The photographs were made in small, private rooms - moments of transformation that felt far from institutions or archives. It’s odd, but also fitting, that they’ve found their way there.
The work is also included in Calling the Shots, the museum’s recent book on queer photography. It gathers over a century of images that look at how we perform, resist, and construct ourselves. To be part of that conversation feels steady, almost circular - as if the work has returned to the same questions that first shaped it.
The book can be purchased here.
